The location of this beachside B&B is great, with easy access to various amenities. the room had a comfortable bed which allowed for a good night's sleep. the bathroom was clean and well-maintained. the service provided by the staff was friendly and helpful. the breakfast offered was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from.
There were some disturbances caused by inconsiderate neighbors having a loud party nearby.

It is in a quiet residential neighborhood and only one street from the beach, so a quick 2 minute walk to a beautiful Gold Coast beach, called Mermaid Beach. The location is quiet and uncrowded with good surfing. The hotel has a small pool and patio area. There is a separate, equipped kitchen for use by guests. Roz, the owner, is pleasant and was helpful to us, with planning transit to Brisbane airport and offering a glass of wine in the evening.
I have travelled widely and stayed in b&b accommodations in Canada, the us and the uk, but this place was only an adequate room, poorly equipped, drab and furnished with left over bits of miscellaneous furniture. Breakfast was cold cereal, a dollop of yogurt, fruit cup and toast. Most hotels offer a continental breakfast with better selections and nicely served and presented. The place lacks any personality and ambience and the dingy, mismatched towels that were bleach marked, looked like something out of a student dorm. The closet in the bedroom was dusty and in need of a good cleaning and the whole house could use some decorating and tidying. It smelled moldy. We left very early on our second morning, but there was no breakfast provided or even a coffee to go!

I liked the owners.
The room was a lot smaller than I expected from the web site advert. And could not smoke on own veranda. Pool neede a bit of tlc, even though not being used, it is a feature. Stayed elsewhere after all next night and felt It was more for the money.

Friendly greeting upon arrival, shown room and facilities, very clean ~ offered tea, coffee or wine (we took the wine) ! Breakfast your choice of Continental or cooked, good choices ~ Had difficulty finding establishments on the Gold Coast for 1 nights accomodation and this B&B was great, no problem with car parking also. Would be happy to stay there again.
